Here’s where to buy plus-size clothes in Aichi and Gifu prefectures. I’ve mapped out all of the plus-size fashion stores across the region, including Japanese brands and shops carrying sizes 2L and up, to help you plan the perfect plus-size shopping experience in central Japan. While Nagoya is in a separate prefecture from Gifu, many people travel the 30-40 minutes into Nagoya for more shopping options. Nagoya has a solid mix of shopping malls, local boutiques, and chain stores that carry plus sizes, while Gifu offers a smaller but still worthwhile selection if you’re willing to explore a bit beyond the main stations. Other cities such as Toyota, Toyohashi, Okazaki, and Ichinomiya have their own plus size offerings, but are far fewer than Nagoya.
